Jenny Grigg

These book covers from Australian designer Jenny Grigg are absolutely superb. I love how she uses texture and composition to make such playful and compelling work. I want to touch and feel these books as much as I want to read them.
There’s a nice connection between her playful wood type compositions and her handmade type covers. Aesthetically, they’re very different. But they both share a similar expressive quality.
See more of Jenny’s on her website.

They are beautiful indeed. The folded type seems to have been influenced by the work of Ed Ruscha.

Beautiful. I especially love the Tax Inspector cover.
Her Hemingway cover series is amazing, too.
