Valero Doval

Valero Doval is a Spanish artist that combines hand drawn elements with collage, often cleverly piecing together objects with similar themes, which is evident in this illustration for Elephant magazine. Combining a bird with a plane is a simple yet elegant concept, and Valero executes it in a stunning way.
Valero distinctly separates his editorial work from his personal work on his website. Both sections are fun to look at, as his concepts are intriguing and colorful. My favorite section is his collection has to be of his circus pets, which combines vintage photographs of dogs and cats with various shapes in a humorous way.
To see more of his work, visit his site and also be sure to check out his Etsy store as well.

Great book design. It may sound nerdy but I love the placement of the bar code on the book cover.

I definitely love the fourth illustration, a combination of birds and human. Quite unique imagery as well as creativity. Nice work!
