I wonder if the inverter of the N ever imagined that all his hard work would be reduced to nothing more than a square.

Thanks for the post! I like to think that the original designer of the N would be happily blown away by the numerous ways his/her mark has been elaborated upon, morphed and studied. I love how versatile letter forms are.
