Jonny Holmes / Bodoni
Wonderful decorative spin on Bodoni produced by classmates Nigel Bents, Paul Oakley and Jonny Holmes at the Chelsea College of Art & Design. I love the intersection of digital and analog in this project — ultimately arriving in the form of a printed piece.
While this specific piece is a collaboration between the three designers (not to mention the laser cutter and printer), it’s worth checking Jonny’s other typographic projects as well. There’s a strong spirit of determined experimentation and playfulness throughout his work.

I absolutely love this homage to wood type created with modern methods. AND I love Bodoni. It’s all great.
