Anton Pearson
Really cool work coming out of Minneapolis by Anton Pearson, a senior at Minneapolis College of Art. Anton creates work that is especially fresh feeling, with innovative type treatments and painterly techniques. I really love his use of color and most of all, how consistent his portfolio of work is—I’m excited to see where Anton takes his work after he graduates and beyond.

Nice! I’m a student at MCAD as well and Anton was in my screenprinting class over the summer, he’s a really talented guy.

There are some really original and striking pieces in this collection. I love the grungy halftone patterns that appear across this body of work which give the creators designs a consistent style. I particularly like the ‘The Big Payback’ poster - it displays a great combination of strong lines, colour and imagery.

Nice collection. Perfect combination of New York gritty and California experimental. If I can say that.
