Everything-Type-Company
Everything-Type-Company is a new design studio collaboration between Geoff Halber (Brooklyn) and Kyle Blue (San Francisco). Their portfolio boasts a nice variety of work for clients such as Yale School of Art, Arkitip, Dwell magazine, and the Walker Art Center.
Much of their work has a wonderfully restrained, austere sophistication to it — which is appropriate for clients like Dwell or Herman Miller. Their layouts and composition are simple and well-balanced, and I love the subtle typographic changes and use of color.
While they do quite a bit of work for larger, academic clients, I enjoy the infusion of whimsy and playfulness into their identity for Sightglass or their various birthday and wedding invitations.

I love this simple, striking piece — celebrating Kyle’s son’s first birthday.
