Ingela P Arrhenius Illustration
This illustration from Sweden based illustrator, Ingela P Arrhenius, is a real hoot! It features a earthy colored owl with a geometrically patterned body against the cool colored tree and background. The composition is neat and symmetrical and it makes me feel like hiding in a tree for the day. Who’s in?
Ingela’s work often employs cheerful characters, simple shapes, and natural color palettes. In addition to creating illustrations, she has a wonderful collection of patterns and hand painted wood block figures. To see more of her fun work, visit her website.

Good stuff. Anything on Elisabeth Ivanovsky. She’s a children books illustrator. Check here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/migueloks/3230765263/

I think it’s just ok. Not one to talk much trash but I’m a little tired of all these ‘flat illustrators’ around everywhere. A little drab for my taste.

I love these illustrations. The owl reminds me of my trademark, but with a very retro feel. The colors definitely excite my mind
