Gerald Cinamon
Gerald Cinamon is an American designer who, at an early age, moved to the UK where he would eventually become the chief designer for all paperback typography at Penguin. Heavily influenced by Swiss design, he created book jackets and posters that were bold and iconic – something unique and forward-thinking for book publishing in the 1960s. To honor his contributions to British design, an exhibition has been organized at the Institute of Contemporary Art. In addition SEA design has produced a stunning book as well as several prints.
