Mark Gowing
Mark Gowing is an Australian-based designer. His work encompasses a variety of media, but I find his poster design to be especially compelling. With a Swiss-oriented reference point, Gowing effectively utilizes simple, geometric shapes with engaging results.

I LOVE his Movie posters especially September and We Need to Talk About Kevin. Great use of imagery and type and grid.

A really impressive collection of work, loving the posters. A couple of those identities also caught my eye, I like the mark for Ocean Consulting Group in particular.

He seems to be very heavily influenced by Philippe Apeloig.

Sorry, but these are just blunt rip offs other designers’ work.

Care to elaborate on which other designers work he’s ripping off there ‘Jen’? I assume you’re just happy remaining anonymous and accusing someone of plagiarism without any evidence or justification. Must be great living in that tower of originality and creativity you’ve built for yourself, what a shame us poor peons don’t get the privilege of of experiencing your masterful output, what with you being so secretive and afraid of being ‘ripped off’ by all those lesser mortals out there. Don’t be sorry, I feel sorry that this is the only way you can build yourself up. What a sad little world you must live in.

I agree with chris. when was the last time anyone has done anything completely original? If you study art history you will find that ALL artists are influenced by others and STUDY masters. That means they directly copy the work in order to understand it. This guys work is good, regardless of the origins on influence.
