Alvin Diec

I am a sucker for the gig poster. That’s the truth.

Running across the work of Alvin Diec was a real treat. Alvin’s in Atlanta, and he sure makes a fine poster, among other things. I love his use of type and restrained style.

The thinking behind is work is evident — it’s fresh, and doesn’t approach the clichés rampant in much of today’s poster scene. Due to the number of choice pieces, I’m highlighting Alvin’s poster work exclusively. Be sure to browse his site, though, his logo and branding pieces are exceptional as well.
