Jeff Canham’s typographic compositions are like tidal waves of cool; they’re like the Mavericks of type. His use of icons with a variety of type styles give the work excitement, depth, and sophistication. I love the sign painted feel and texture of the work, as well as the color palettes.

Jeff is a resident of San Francisco, California, where he works at New Bohemia Signs. He formerly art directed Surfer Magazine.

There is a great article on him in this month’s issue of the Surfers Journal… check it out on page 74. I personally love the sign he did for Mollusk Surf Shop

woah! Roxy ripped this stuff off a few years ago.

anon - Jeff was a contracted artist for Roxy roughly 06-09. he’s worked with a bunch of the surf/skate companies over the years since leaving Surfer Mag.
