Fancy Antique Display by Infamous Foundry

fancy antique display

From the Infamous foundry, the same studio that brought us Bolda Display, comes a beautiful new display font inspired by French decorative alphabets from the 1940′s and 1950′s. I gave Fancy Antique Display a test run this morning and instantly fell in love with it. Congrats to Morten at Infamous for this stunning piece of work!

Really nice typeface. Works wonderfully on a cream/grey background and text in an off-black colour – nice choices. Most definitely a heading type only though, I wouldn’t use it for content, or sub-headings below 26pt or so, looks overly-complicated (almost unreadable) being so small on the C39 image posted on this blog.

Really awesome well. Performs fantastically on a cream/grey qualifications and textual articles in an off-black color – awesome options. Most definitely a going kind only though, I will not use it for articles, or sub-headings below 26pt or so, looks overly-complicated (almost unreadable) being so little on the C39 picture published on this site.
