Playing with fish, a classic scandinavian childrens passtime — along with wrassling polar bears and playing «taunt-the-troll» it’s really all you need for a fulfilling childhood.

Love the style of the illustrations. Nice (though inconsistent) mix of lines and flat areas of colour.

only one (or two) things wrong about that book. finland and iceland aren’t part of scandinavia…

Very cool. My daughters are bilingual French/English and I find that the French books are much more visually imaginative than the English ones. I’m alway planning posts, in my mind, about the cool books we find at the French library here in Vilnius.
