your illustration work is really nice - i like the style, love the colours too. really nice vibrancy. i can see a similarity between this work and cronin, but it is in no way a rip! you could just about pick any bloody illustrator, designer, architect, whatever in the world today and compare him to someone that has went before.

foolish comments from nick & skeletor (good name skeletor, you likes the superted?)

The comparisons to Brian Cronin are silly. Their work is quite different.

I prefer this guy's work.

Hello,
Thanks for all the very nice comments:)

In response to the not so nice ones:

I'm surprised you're pinning me down to Cronin, and I'm very flattered in part.My linework and composition may have similarities but my pallette and textures are completely different.

I'm far more influenced by Indian Matchbox art, stamps, golden age comics, Frank Espinosa and the wonderful Milton Caniff(Terry and the pirates in particular).

Cronin has exceptional variation of style which could easily fit lots of current illustrators working today, hence his success. As an illustrator I'm no more influenced than anyone else, without the likes of Pierre Le-Tan, Seymour Chwast, David Sutter and Jean Michel Folon, there would possibly be no Cronin.
