I know Herberts daughter quite well and was taught by her around 10 years ago (damn I’m getting old)! Anyhow…they are superb journals… If anyone is interested I hold many double copies of both the first and second series (almost complete sets), and I’m open to serious offers on them! I got to flick (carefully and reverently) through a bunch of these, one of the tutors at my uni is Herbert Spencer’s daughter! He collected all kinds of other typographic prints/books etc, amazing stuff. Its hard to believe the age of some of the work in Typographica, if you didn’t see the date it could be a recent publication.
